Relatives used to refer to our part of the family as the "Addams Family".
So far as I was concerned this was a compliment.

They used to punish-to-death eccentrics in Britain in the Middle Ages calling
them witches. Yet today everyone wants to appear different, not that they
are. What's wrong with witches, anyway?

I liked the indifference to money. After all, it's just only paper. It has
little bearing on happiness. They knew what really had true value.

I used to love the games the children used to play like Wednesday's "Marie
Antoinette" (Gadzooks, she was French!) and playing with explosives, some
-thing I've never grown out of (army).

 I have my old battle kit (minus GPMG) on a mannequin in our living room;
 does that count?

I used to live next door to a similiar looking house. Forty-odd Cottenham
Park Road, West Wimbledon, London, UK. Early eery 1800s. They built an
eyesore of a building next to it when I was there. If I ever win the Lottery
Jackpot I'll buy both buildings knocking down that new monstrosity. If the
owners can be persuaded to sell.

 I know what you mean!

I also like the outfit she used to wear.

Earlier today I watched "The Munsters". I assume it to have been a
cash-in on Addams popularity. It's okay but it doesn't have the depth.
