Because like so many other modem pioneers of their time (Codex, Vadic, Microcom,
Concord, Milgo, Paradyne, Anderson-Jacobsen, GDC, Telebit) they were slow to
adapt to changing markets.

BTW, my modem is a Hayes Accura V.90....oh well
