You mean it does? It's not just an extra "extension" if com is taken??"
</scarasm>

And of course, the various registars are not helping anyone figure out
what those various .foo things are really for and what they were supposed
to be used for by calling everything a "web address".

"You mean that an address doesn't have to have a web page??"

FSCK! Thank you M$ and company, for trying to dumb down a computer to the
lowest fucking level and making it so that even AOL lusers think that
Case/Gates invented the fucking Internet and that everyone is using
some form of windoh!s and/or AOHell or MSiN. Thank you for making it so
everyone seems to think that because you are a "computer person", you know
how to fix and use every god dammned piece of fucking shit little turd
of overpriced "sharware" for scratching their dogs balls (registering this
software for only 55 dollars US will alow it to dick it's dick as well) that
there is under the dammned burning sun and under the dark and molding
ground! Thank you for helping anyone who has installed a copy of DeadRat
Linux believe that becasue they have a root account on a UNIX variant with
training wheels, they have now been granted some kind of diety-inspired
powers over everyone else and feel they have reached a new level of "leetness"
even though they think that "Linux 7.1" is the latest version of Linux!
Thank you for inventing new words for old ideas and various other things.
Thank you for the people with a fucking rod up their arse so high they
can pick up communications from space that use these words. Thank you for
the people who look down upon the rest of us who _do_ have a fucking clue
and would love to apply the biggest fucking spiked electrified cattle prod
to said people when they use these new words and the clue keepers don't
know what the fuck they are talking about[1].

*pant pant*

Wow, I don't know where that came from exactly, but I do feel better.

And please forgive if the above seems a bit confusing and disjointed, but
text alone can not begin to convey the amount of.... whatever....
I have for this.... something... Gah!

[1] This one I have experienced multiple times, the most recent was back
at the San Hosed[2] site. $IT_PERSON says foo, other admin looks confused.
$IT_PERSON starts to look discusted at admin, I intervene by translating
and tell them both not to worry, I can translate between UNIX and
Windows Weenie. $IT_PERSON gives me a sour look and leaves. I laugh.

[2] *sigh* That trip sucked, but I do miss 'orking at Mentor. Didn't
like too much being with walking distance of the heads of that corp[3],
but damn, was that site nice.

[3] Those paying attention may now know which site and city I was at.
