Must confess, i would far rather have an interviewee respond 
something like "I don't know the exact details, but I know it's 
covered by a [RFC|ORA-book], so I'd go and look it up".

Life is vastly too short for you to act as a repository for all
necessary knowledge; the best you can do is store a set of pointers
to where the knowledge can be found should you need it.

It also helps if you know what data are volatile, and look them up
rather than relying on your excellent memory of things that used to be
true. I've seen people get caught on this one.
