I was a dedicated listener to WCCO every night on my way home from work until Knuckle Head's KNCO clobbered them. Does anyone here remember Hobbs House? I have always felt it was truly unique. This man with a deep beautiful voice would speak to the audiance about anything and nothing. His voice was so melodic that it was like singing. Hobbs would just open the mike & talk. That was "it." About once or twice an hour he would play a piece of music, and of course do commercials. It still impresses me to think of it, the way he could just carry the show.
