AFAIK, Quinn's is still alive -- but they moved a couple miles south
on Doolittle.   New address is 401 McCormick in San Leandro, phone
510/569-1539 or 569-3884.  Cross street is Adams which runs east from
Doolittle btw. Davis and Hegenberger.

True, they did carry some aviation electronics, but mostly to satisfy
a lease requirement at the old location I think.  As for stuff by the
pound, the once had sales on the weekend to clear out their old lot
and sold off many things by the pound, but you had to be there to
understand..   Check it out, but don't expect shrink-wrapped stuff on
shelves..
