There was a native Unix for the 180 series, done (under contract to CDC)
by HCR (R.I.P.), the same folks that did VX/VE.  I was the technical
architect at HCR for the native Unix. It was up and running at both HCR
(in Toronto) and at Arden Hills.  The port was pretty much complete as I
recall, it passed the appropriate test suites; we ran one of our 180's
as
an NFS server at HCR.  There were a lot of interesting problems
involved in porting Unix to the 180.

This was now nearly 10 years ago!  Ouch!
