The method involved the following boot prom command: setenv output-device screen:r1280x1024x76m This was supposed to set the resolution used by OpenWindows to 1280x1024 at 76Hz refresh (I think). This does not work on my SparcStation 5 with the new Sony 20" monitors that Sun is shipping. I have the Turbo GX graphics option installed and the monitor doc says that it is capable of 1280x1024 at 81HZ refresh. I believe the Turbo GX graphics frame buffer is also capable of this too. Does the 'setenv' command above need to be changed for the SparcStation 5 or is there some other way to do this? Thanks alot! Randy --- /* Rt */
