If you have problems to format a disk, you might want to try 'sformat'
Sformat is available on:

	ftp://ftp.fokus.gmd.de/pub/unix/sformat

Note that you need the scg driver to use sformat. Scg is on:

	ftp://ftp.fokus.gmd.de/pub/unix/kernel/scg
