First off, I'm no longer on the Sun Mgr's list, so if this has been posted
and answered, my humble apologies... please send me the SUMMARY if this has
a pat answer:

I have a *new* SPARC Server 20 which I am attempting to hook up to a serial
terminal as its console. I am having a lot of trouble getting them to
"talk" to one another. The problem looks like a baud rate mis-match,
but no setting satisfies. I'm using 8 bits, no parity, and have tried
fiddling with these settings as well, but to no avail.

BTW, the terminal functions properly hooked up to another device, so
that is not where the problem lies.

Should I change the RS423/232 jumper inside the box? (I think not; wasn't
needed on my Sparc10 - but...)

Thanx for any help you can provide... of course, I will summarize to the
list if the answer(s) reflect that it hasn't been up on the list lately.
