I'm now seriously considering getting a digital camera; I started
checking them out about 6 months ago, and did not pursue it very far
then as prices were pretty high. Prices seem to have fallen (hmmm... do
they come out with new models and new, higher prices just for
Christmas?), the market has matured a bit, and there seem to be rather
more models supported by Linux than there were "way back when."

Appended below is a list of the digital camera links that I have
collected thus far.

I'm having a bit of a hard time selecting between the manifold models
that are available. It appears that *many* are nicely supported by
Linux; I'm thinking about biasing towards the Agfa 307 as there are some
really good prices on it these days (about $250USD).

It would be a nifty idea to have a web page with CGIs to collect
Linux-oriented information such as:
a) Users of particular models, and
b) URLs for "favorite" driver sites...
