Traveled to Denver this week. The United Pilot told me that the rules
had recently been changed and that if the GPS was a class B it was OK to
use. I showed him the Garmin 12xl. He declared that it was OK to use
during the entire flight including takeoff. The only problem seemed to
be that the announced altitudes were always about 1000 ft off.
