It is a command for Tripmate, (Rockwell Unit)
The command for GARMIN I remember is
$PGRMO,<Sentence>,<Switch>*hh<CR><LF>
For the  <Sentence> is like GPRMC.
For the  <Switch> 0 means  off.
*hh is checksum
