On request of some xmap user, I released gpstrans-0.32b-mk
(see ftp://ftp.mayko.com/pub/gpstrans/ ) with a nice modification,
which allows you display the speed in Mayko Xmap when replaying a track.
The Garmin GPS does not save the speed data into the log buffer. When
downloading
the track data out of the garmin you get only coordinates and time.

With gpstrans-0.32b-mk speed calculation is done by software.
The math is simple: Knowing two coordinates and the traveled
time from point to point, you'll get an average speed.

have fun.
