Hi All (people @ Garmin included),

Having seen some updates to newer models, I was wondering if Garmin
was going to address certain issues in older models like the GPS12/XL
& 48. When I say issues, I mean updates to certain definitions and
additions like the latest Australian Grid and Datum, renaming of the
Hu-Tzu-Shan Datum to Taiwan Datum, allow display of speed and track
when velocity is below 1.0 MPH since Selective Availability (SA) is
now off for good and maybe even allow the map zoom to go down to 0.1
KM just to name a few. I am sure these enhancements will not require a
whole lot more of processing power but just some revision to the
existing firmware.

With so many older models still in service, I am sure these owners,
like myself, will appreciate the updates.

Thanks for listening.

Regards,
Collin

to do the something I can do.
