I have a 60CS with 59 MB. The tracklogs have separate memory.

I find that I keep about 30-40 MB of maps in the unit all the time (because
that's enough for the area in which I use it most of the time), and I load
additional maps as needed.

As a rough idea, I can load all the maps for about a 200 mile semicircle
centered on San Francisco, more or less. That includes some very
information-dense urban areas and some rural areas with pretty much nothing
except a freeway and a forest.
