Here in Pope Valley, I usually have excellent advantage over my city
friends for skywatching.
At this time of year, I can go down into the pond to further shield the sky.

But last night there was just enough fog so that I had a city-view of the
stars.  I could see some bright ones, but I didn't spot any meteors in
about a 10 minute span around 2am PST.
