Well, you should at least make yourself familiar with some basic issues of GPS receivers and DGPS. The idea you came up with of course has been discussed for years and years by beginners. If that simple scheme would be a solution, why should all manufacturers of DGPS equipment then not use it instead of the more complicated pseudorange data? DGPS beacon receivers and WAAS are much cheaper solutions than setting up two identical full GPS receivers with data logging capabilities (on BOTH receivers).
