For my address in Vancouver, BC, it gives virtually
the same lat/lon as in my signature.

I did notice that it's easy to "confuse it", and
get the wrong results. For example, using "vancouver bc",
and the following for the street address:
"2072 w third" - correct location
"2072 w 3rd" - correct location
"2072 w 3" - wrong
"2072 w 3 avenue" - wrong
"2072 w third avenue" - correct location
"2072 w third street" - wrong, finds 100-block of West 3rd Avenue
"2072 w 3rd street" - wrong, finds East 3rd Avenue
